Life Admin App 🗂️
An adulting apportunity
Available Domain: Lifealigns.com
💡 TLDR: An app which helps users to stay on top of their life admin tasks that are otherwise forgotten
1. Problem/Opportunity❓
The Problem/Opportunity: Adulting is hard. You have to feed yourself, pay taxes, rent, bills…the list goes on.
And in this mess of responsibilities invariably things slips through the cracks. Like forgetting to renew your driver’s license to pick a completely random example that definitely didn’t happen to me recently. So let’s create an app to help stay on top of so-called “life admin.”
Market Size: Tricky to size the market here but this would fall under the productivity app market, which is a c.$9bn market
2. Solution ✅
The Idea: an app which helps users to stay on top of their life admin tasks that are otherwise forgotten
How it Works:
Users download the app and the platform automatically links to a user’s email account.
It systematically goes through looking for admin related tasks and sets up reminders for when they need to be renewed. For example, it will let you know when you need to pay your car tax or insurance.
The app will also prompt users to input additional information, such as taking pictures of passports or bank cards and setting up reminders for when these need to be updated.
Go-to-market: Build an MVP with just the email reading functionality, test it with a small group and iterate from there.
Monetisation: Small subscription fee (or give for free + sell the data)
Startup Costs: With a good engineer by your side you could start this for a few hundred bucks
3. How You’ll Get Rich 💰
Hold: depending on the scale this reaches this could be a low effort, cash flowing business for the owner. You’re gonna struggle to get to a huge exit here unless you go deep into the personal assistant world

JUST THE TIP
Trend 📈: SMS Marketing is on the Up
SMS marketing has been surging in popularity in recent years.
Check it out:
But why is SMS marketing becoming so popular? It’s simple. Open rates.
SMS has a staggering 98% open rate. That's 3.7x more than the 26.8% open rate for email and 12.5x more than the 7.8% open rate for push notifications.
In fact Chamath Palihapitiya, the billionaire CEO of Social Capital, has re-entered the “arena” as CEO of Hustle, a text message marketing platform.
THE MONEYSHOT
Making $190k per Month with an AI Dating App at 23
Acquire.com is a great place for business ideas. And a few months back there was a listing on the platform for an AI dating app that was for sale.
This app was Plug.ai and was founded by 23 year old Alex Leiman.
The app is super simple. You screenshot a message that you get on a dating platform, upload it to the app and the app then gives you a flirty/clever response to send back to get you more dates.
The app went super viral on TikTok and it got 1.5 million downloads in less 5 months.
Alex charges $7 per week for the app and it’s doing $190k per month in revenue. This may seem crazy for an app that’s basically a GPT wrapper, but that’s the world we live in. Check out an interview with Alex if you want to learn more.
